Our chosen charities for 2026
As a trusted early years training provider, giving back is important to us. We are proud to be a people-focussed employer. That’s why every year, The Childcare Company selects one or a group of charities to support throughout the year. These charities are voted on by our employees, whose fundraising efforts ensure significant donations to our charities of choice.
Choosing a training provider supporting UK charities means that your organisation can be proactive in supporting them too. This is why we’re better together.
Early Lives – The UCLH Neonatal Charity
Early Lives supports all aspects of life on the UCLH neonatal unit, raising money to support premature babies, their families, and the incredible staff who see to their every need.
By funding essentials like specialist equipment, family facilities, staff training, and neonatal research, Early Lives enhances the critical care provided by the neonatal team, and covers costs for things that are not funded through the NHS. This one means a lot to The Childcare Company as a trusted childcare training provider. This charity was selected after it helped a member of our team and their family.

SUDC UK (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood)
SUDC UK is a charity dedicated to the unexplained death of children aged between 1-18 years of age. Around 40 children are affected every year in the UK, which equates to 1-2 seemingly healthy children dying every fortnight, often going to sleep, and never waking up.
SUDC UK is dedicated to raising awareness, facilitating research, and providing family support to those impacted by unexpected child loss. When you partner with a values-led training provider, together, we can get to the bottom of why this happens, and hopefully, find ways to prevent it.

Dementia UK
Dementia UK helps individuals and families impacted by this cruel condition, which often causes memory loss. This incredible charity provides specialist nursing services, familial and spousal support, a free, confidential helpline, and much more.
1 in 2 of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime, so now more than ever, it’s important that we work together to create awareness, and provide support to those who need it most.
