At The Childcare Company, our childcare apprenticeships and diplomas are designed to help you take your career further and our skill builders ensure you are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to work with children and their families.

With the right childcare training, you can change the lives of children, young people and their families as they navigate residential or community childcare settings. You can also open doors in your own career, embarking on a journey to becoming anything from a childcare practitioner who supports children and young people to a manager who leads a team to provide the best care for those who need it most. Whether you have prior experience in childcare or not, our childcare courses range from level 2 to level 5, meaning we have a childcare apprenticeship or diploma which can help you take your first steps into the sector or take your next step on the career ladder.

At The Childcare Company, our childcare apprenticeship and diploma courses cover everything from learning how to support children, young people and their families, implementing person-centred care plans and understanding how to care for individuals living with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to managing others in supporting young people, leading a culture-driven ethos and developing yourself, regardless of the level you are working at. With specialist courses for community and residential childcare settings, we enhance your learning by tailoring your education to meet your goals. Several of our childcare courses also include optional modules so you can create a learning pathway that suits your goals whilst developing the core knowledge for your role.

If you are a school leaver looking to embark on a successful career in childcare, or if you are already experienced in the sector and are interested in taking on more of a managerial role, our childcare apprenticeships and diplomas can help you take the leap. Delivered through face-to-face and online training, these childcare courses are designed with you and your learning and development in community or residential childcare in mind. We also offer Skill Builders which can enhance your functional skills in English and Maths or more childcare-specific skills, including health and safety awareness, first aid training and safeguarding practices.
